If you’ve practiced yoga for a while, you may have come across the term Tapas—and no, I’m not talking about the delicious Spanish food. In yoga philosophy, Tapas refers to discipline, commitment, and the willingness to put in effort, even when it feels challenging.

For parents, especially, this principle resonates deeply. Whether it’s showing up for your yoga practice, navigating a tough parenting moment, or prioritizing self-care, Tapas is the fuel that keeps us moving forward, even on the hardest days.

But what does this actually look like in everyday life?
