✦ ABOUT NATASHA
Helping children find calm, confidence and connection — through yoga they actually love.
Hi, I’m Natasha. I teach yoga to children: playful, giggly, wriggly yoga that doesn’t feel like “sit still and be quiet.” And because the real magic happens when you practice it together, I help parents join in right alongside them — even if you’ve never done a downward dog in your life.

How I got here…
From the mum who read all the books…
I’ll be honest with you. I came to this as a mum who was doing all the right things…. reading the gentle parenting books, learning the theory, trying so hard to get it right…. and still feeling like something was missing.
The books gave me information. What my children needed was something they could feel in their own bodies.
That’s what yoga gave us. Not a perfectly peaceful household…. my kids be wild! But a set of tools my kids could actually reach for: a way to move through big feelings, to find their breath when everything felt like too much, to be able to relax even without screens. Tools that lived in them, not a calm corner gathering dust.
The more I saw what it did for my children, the more I wanted every family to have it. So now that’s what I do.
Why yoga matters for children
Children carry stress, worry and big emotions too — they just don’t always have the words for it. Yoga gives them a gentle, playful way to understand and move through what they’re feeling.
When children practise yoga, it:
- Supports their developing nervous system — helping them shift out of “fight or flight” and back into calm
- Balances their energy — settling the wired and lifting the low
- Releases stress and tension stored up in the body
- Builds emotional regulation — so big feelings start to feel less overwhelming
- Connects them with their breath — their most powerful, always-available calming tool
- Teaches real coping skills they’ll carry with them for life
And because we practise together, your child isn’t learning any of this alone. They’re learning it with you, in the safety and comfort of their own home.

Practised together — even if you’ve never tried yoga
You don’t need to be “a yoga person.” No experience, no bendy poses, no special clothes, no silent studio required.
We practise home to home — messy floors, interruptions, snack breaks and all. You don’t have to be calm, flexible, or sure of what you’re doing. You just have to be willing to roll out a mat (or a towel, or a patch of carpet) and play along with your child.
Messy, imperfect, real — and powerful. 💛
What I believe
- Every child can learn to regulate — it’s a skill, not a personality trait
- Joy, not just survival, is possible for your family
- Yoga should feel joyful, never like one more thing to get “right”
- Every child is welcome exactly as they are — including neurodivergent kids, in neurodivergent-affirming ways
- You don’t have to be a perfect (or calm, or flexible) parent to give your child this
