Kid’s Yoga in Clondalkin, Dublin
I have been sharing Yoga in Dublin since 2017 and I have worked in some beautiful spaces with some amazing people.
I have loved sharing yoga with the kids in local schools such at Scoil Ide, St Josephs, St Johns and Clonburris. And travelling a little further out to other schools around Dublin.
I had the absolute pleasure of working in Breathing Space in Dublin 8, which is a studio that feels so inclusive and such a welcoming space.
And I ran kids yoga classes in Knockmitten Community centre and I’ve helped out with many camps, events and charity fundraisers within the community.
Yoga in School
Children learn regulation best through play, and sessions are designed to meet them where they are.
Schools across Clondalkin have welcomed Natasha into their classrooms for Active School Weeks and Wellbeing Weeks, and regular sessions to give children simple, practical tools for managing big feelings, calming busy bodies and finding focus.
Let’s be clear: this is not an adult yoga class! Expect games, laughter, stories and the occasional bit of silliness, and don’t expect everyone to sit still, because that’s not the goal.
Natasha is committed to making yoga inclusive, so no child is left out. She adapts every class for children with disabilities, neurodivergent children and every kind of learner, making sure everyone can take part in their own way. And the teachers? It’s always a joy when they roll up their sleeves and join in, but it’s absolutely fine if they’d rather sit back and catch up on some paperwork, too!
